Christmas Toy Rental 2008

As in previous years, Toy Library members will be able to borrow as many toys as they like over the Christmas break (7 weeks). Toys may be reserved in advance and reservations can be made from Sat 29th November. The cost will be 3 x the toy rental and payment needs to be made at the time of reservation. Reserved toys may be collected at the Toy Library on Sunday 14th Dec 2pm – 3pm.

And don’t forget the Party Pack (see picture below). This is also available of hire throught the closure period. See Karen for details.

We are now computerized!

It's been a long time coming but thanks to some generous grants (thanks Julie for organizing this) and the expertise of Karen and hubby Peter, the computerized system is now all up and running. There may still be some glitches with the system so please be patient if this occurs.

Shelves, Insulation and Signs

The committee have been working REALLY hard over the last little while. If you haven't done already, take a look at the new signs which Nic and Jennifer made, the insulation in the roof which makes a whole heap of difference in the winter (a special thanks to Nic and Johnny on this one) and the new shelves for the Role Play toys. The new shelves enable a lot of the big role play toys to be stored off the floor
