Christmas Closure

Whitby Toy Library closes on Saturday 19th Dec and re-opens on Saturday 30th Jan 2010. Please ensure that all toys are back at the Toy Library by 11.50am Saturday 19th Dec 2009

Christmas Rentals

As in previous years, Toy Library members will be able to borrow as many toys as they like over the Christmas/summer break. Toys may be reserved in advance and reservations can be made at the Toy Library from Saturday 5th Dec 2009. The cost will be 3 x the toy rental and payment needs to be made at the time of reservation.

Remember, no payment – no reservation.

Please also remember that we do not take eftpos or credit cards. We only take cash or cheques.

Reserved toys may be collected from the Toy Library on Sunday 20th December between 2pm – 3pm. Whitby Toy Library will re-open on Saturday 30th January although Christmas rental toys will not be due back until Saturday 13th February, but if you want to bring them back earlier you can, just remember that we will be closed on Saturday 6th February (Waitangi Day). The party pack and bouncy castle will also be available for hire over the break.

Our latest grant

A huge thank you to the Lions Foundation for their recent grant to the Whitby Toy Library. This has enabled us to get some more of those awesome WOW toys.

Bouncy Castle for Hire!

A BIG thank you to Mana Community Grants Foundation who have given us a grant to enable us to buy a bouncy castle. The bouncy castle is available for hire at the following rates (per day):
Toy Library Members: $40 hire plus $60 bond
Non Toy Library Members: $80 hire plus $60 bond.

Please note that a $20.00 non-returnable deposit is required at the time of booking the bouncy castle.

Party Pack

Available for hire on a weekly basis. $20 rental plus a $20 returnable bond. 12 place settings. See Karen at the toy library to book the pack.
