Membership of Whitby Toy Library

 

Working Membership

The current yearly subscription for a working member is $20.00*. Working members are expected to help out at the Toy Library sessions (four times a year plus one stand by duty), help with toy cleaning and help with any fund-raising. Members on duty are eligible for free toy rental for a two week period. Members on duty are welcome to bring their children along with them - we have a gate by the door so they can't escape! and husbands / partners are most welcome to do the rostered duties.

Full Membership

The current yearly subscription for a full member is $75.00*. Full members are not expected to help in any way.

Casual Membership

Casual members pay a $5.00 annual fee plus they pay $5.00* each time they use the Toy Library. As with Full Members, Casual Members are not expected to help in any way.

*Rentals*

All members pay rental on the toys they borrow. Up to 6 toys may be borrowed per membership for a two week period. Toy rental ranges from 50c to $3.50.

Please note that at the time of joining you will be asked to show some form of identification such as a driving licence.

Our Membership Forms and Information Sheets are now available in PDF Format. In order to view them you must have the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed on your PC. You can download a version suitable for your system, free of charge, from Adobe. We recommend using the latest version of the Reader.
